‘I Am America’ was written by trans activist Shea Diamond and Justin Tranter and came out in early 2020. Originally designed as an empowering track to serve as the theme song for HBO's We're Here, it became a cult hit, as an anthem of love, joy and acceptance focusing on queer people, transgender people, and people of color.

This TTBB arrangement was written for Portland Gay Men’s Chorus, and is of moderate difficulty. Featuring fun hand claps and varying from unison to 2-4 parts, it would suit a chorus also doing some choreography or physical movement.
